In addition to offering a competitively priced laundry service for £8.50 a week (which includes the loan of nappies) they also offer the option to trial a range of nappies for a hire price of £4.50 a week.

Credit Union Schemes
Real nappies will save you money in the long run but it is money up front, a great way of avoiding this up front cost is to borrow from your local credit union. They supply low cost loans for any purpose and it’s a great way of buying all the real nappies you need without breaking the bank. Loans are repaid weekly or monthly whatever suits you best.
Cardiff Credit Union
To be eligible for a loan from the credit union you must live or work within the County Boroughs of Cardiff or the Vale of Glamorgan. There is no requirement to save with the Credit Union before the loan is taken out but you must save a little each week when repaying the loan. The cost of a typical £200 loan paid back over 12 months is £4.10 a week, this will be rounded up to £5, the extra 90p being put into a savings account.
Free life insurance if provided with all loans.
You can repay the loan by standing order, at a Post Office using the credit union membership card or by having income or benefits paid directly to the credit union. Splotlands Credit Union Ltd
To be eligible for a loan from the credit union you must live or work within the Splott, Tremorfa or Adamsdown areas. You must save for a minimum of 12 weeks; you will then be entitled to borrow twice the amount of money you have saved i.e. if you have saved £100 you can borrow up to £200. Splotland Cerdit Union run a flexible repayment scheme where there is no set amount to repay and you can spread the cost over 3 years.

There are several collection points in the Borough where you can pay your weekly or monthly payments, or you can pay by standing order.
