First Real Nappy Friendly Hospital

Last week Dolgellau Hospital in Gwynedd was the first hospital in Wales to be classified as Real Nappy Friendly. They have made a commitment to providing parents with information about real nappies during pregnancy and parents can also use their own real nappies during their stay at the birthing centre. Parents can also see a nappy display pack which is kept on the ward which contains a selection of nappies and accessorirs along with a comprehensive nappy and fabric guide and local nappy supplier contact details.

We are hoping that more hospitals accross Wales will help promote the use of real nappies over the coming months. Watch this space!
